Entering the Remote Fax Number 167
When the Scanner Upgrade Kit
(optional) is installed, the screen
as shown on the right-hand side
appears. Select the item using the
or button, and then
press the [ENTER] button. For
details, see the
Scanning Guide .
The procedure from step 4 is the
same even if either of the follow-
ing items is selected.
[1. FAX NUMBER SETUP]:
A fax number is specified as the
relay end terminal.
[2. E-MAIL ADDRESS SETUP]:
An Email address is specified as
the relay end terminal.

Enter a group number (1 to
1999) with the digital keys
and press the [ENTER] but-
ton.
When the entered number has
been already registered,
1. The screen on the right
appears for about 2 seconds.
2. Select the desired item using
the or button and
press the [ENTER] button.
[1.DELETE]:
To delete the existing group
number
→
go to step 4.
[2.MODIFY]:
To modify the existing group
number
→
go to step 5.
[3.RETAIN]:
To retain the existing group
number
→
go to step 4.
