USING THE EDITING FUNCTIONS
11. SHEET INSERTION COPYING
Special sheets of paper (such as colored paper) are inserted into a set of copies at specified pages.
There are two Sheet Insertion modes available:
• Inserting blank sheets before specified pages
• Inserting copied sheets at specified pages
Example of inserting a blank sheet before the
specified page

Tip
To make Sheet Insertion copies, you have to set two cassettes (or one cassette and the large-capacity
feeder) in the same paper size and direction (one for special insertion sheets and the other for normal
sheets of copy paper).

Place sheets of paper in the cassette for sheet in-
sertion.

Press the EDIT key to enter the editing menu. Then,
press the SHEET INSERTION key.
• If the key for the desired function is not shown, press the
