5. Remove the 6 (3/8 inch) flange lock nuts securing the spindle to the deck
(from bottom).

6. Lift spindle assembly from the deck.
7. Remove the housing ring (if applicable).
8. Slide spindle shaft out of spindle housing.
9. Move bearing spacer to the side in order to gain access to the inner race
of the bottom bearing.
