2.1. General rules
Prohibition !
Danger of getting caught up or dragged for operators with long hair or wearing
floating clothes, necklaces, rings or other objects.

Pacemakers prohibited.
It is strictly prohibited for any person with a pacemaker to handle the drive
spindles or the quill motors.

The use of air blasts or any other compressed air device is strictly prohibited.

The user must read the contents of this instruction before handling the machine.
TORNOS SA will not be held responsible if the user disregards this obligation.

Read and observe the instructions provided with the machine.
Only those persons trained to handle it and familiar with these instructions can
operate the machine.

The use of protective footwear is recommended, especially when operating a
barfeeder (handling and dropping of bars!).

Wear gloves when operating the machine or barfeeder (working on the spindles,
manually loading bars, handling the chips, working on the chip conveyor and
chip tank, changing tools, cleaning and maintenance work, etc.).
