8.1.
Lithium
– Polymer storage battery
The Li-Po storage battery is supplied partly charged;
it can be charged at any time without risking a shorter
life. Interrupting charging does not shorten its life
either.
The operating temperature of the Li-Po storage battery is between 0 °C and +45 °C; if the
Li-Po storage battery is stored at a lower temperature, it may occur that the TA 220
indicates an empty state of charge. In that case refresh the charge and put the Li-Po
storage battery in the charger for 2 minutes. The refreshment cycle is performed within
those two minutes.
8.2.
Charger
To operate the charger (102) put the socket-averted
side of the power cable in the charger and the
connector in a socket which is fed with power of 110
V / 230 V.
Charging the lithium
– polymer storage battery is
only possible when the original TITAN charger is
used.
8.3.
Change of lithium
– polymer storage battery
To change the Li-Po storage battery, please press the safety knob and
pull out the Li-Po storage battery upward with your free hand.
