Cause
Remedy
Strap tensioning roll spins
and delves into the plastic
strap.
Strap tensioning roll and/or strap
platelet polluted.
Clean strap tensioning roll and/or
strap platelet.
Strap tension setting too high.
Correct value set on the
keyboard display downward.
Gearing of the strap tensioning
roll no longer sufficient.
Check gearing of the strap
tensioning roll; replace, when
damage becomes visible.
Use of inappropriate plastic strap.
Check plastic strap, does it meet
necessary requirements? If not,
use plastic strap meeting the
requirements of the tool.
The plastic strap
tensioned is bent on its
side, it is not proper within
the strap guidance and
the welding point is not in
the centre.
Use of inappropriate plastic strap.
Check plastic strap, does it meet
necessary requirements? If not,
use plastic strap meeting the
requirements of the tool.
Strap tension setting too high.
Correct value set on the
keyboard display downward.
Strap mismatch not set correctly.
Set strap mismatch correctly. See
item 7.3.
During the tensioning
operation the tool moves
forward.
The lower strap is not blocked /
held properly.
Check strap tension; its setting
may be too high, correct it, if
required.
Use of inappropriate plastic strap.
Check plastic strap, does it meet
necessary requirements? If not,
use plastic strap meeting the
requirements of the tool.
Plastic strap became
fixed.
Plastic strap too thick or the
distance between strap
tensioning roll and strap stop
platelet is too small.
Try to increase the distance
between strap tensioning roll and
strap stop platelet or take a
thinner plastic strap.
Ambient temperature too high.
Reduce the ambient temperature.
Use of inappropriate plastic strap.
Check plastic strap, does it meet
necessary requirements? If not,
use plastic strap meeting the
requirements of the tool.
Seal marked too strongly,
plastic strap tears during
welding or the tensioning
operation.
Welding time too long and/or
strap tension too strong.
Correct value set on the
keyboard display downward.
During or after the
tensioning operation the
tool moves backward and
the plastic strap loosens.
Plastic strap holding unit or ball
bearings defective.
