Duration of active connection
The Duration of active connection is the time, in which the emergency number is
dialed, the telephone called and the S.O.S. tone sequence played back. Example:
The telephones default setting is 90 seconds. The S.O.S. tone sequence is played
for this entire time (although it can only be heard when the call is accepted). If a
recipient answers the call after 60 seconds, he will hear the S.O.S. tone sequence
for a maximum of another 30 seconds. You can set a duration from 30 99 seconds.
Do not select too short a duration, so that the tone sequence will still be heard, if
there is a delay in the handset of the telephone called being lifted.
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the main menu items.
2. Press the arrow keys to choose BS Settings, then press the
SELECT soft key.
3. Enter the current base PIN and press the OK soft key.
