Making special emergency call settings
Your telephones default settings are as follows:
After an emergency call has been triggered, the telephone dials the
sequence of stored numbers up to 9 times (number of sequences = 9).
After an unsuccessful sequence, the telephone waits 3 minutes before it
starts the next sequence (pause after unsuccessful sequence = 3 min.).
The time, in which the emergency number is dialled, the telephone called
and the S.O.S. tone sequence can be heard is 90 seconds (duration of
active connection = 90 sec.).
When connecting to an emergency server, it is possible for them to use
the emergency identification code, in the form of a numberal sequence of
DTMF tones, to receive information about the caller (default setting: no
code specified).
If you do not want to change these settings, you can skip the programming steps in
this section.
Setting the number of sequences
A sequence is defined as a single, sequential dialling of all programmed emergency
numbers.
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the main menu items.
2. Press the arrow keys to choose BS Settings, then press the
SELECT soft key.
3. Enter the current base PIN and press the OK soft key.
4. Press the arrow keys to choose 8:Emergency Call, then press the
SELECT soft key.
5. Press the arrow keys to choose 3:Call Sequence, then press
the SELECT soft key. The set number of sequences is displayed.
6. Select the number of sequences (1-9) using the arrow keys and
press the OK soft key.
7. Select further settings. Or press the
key to exit.
