manual in order to know the proper flash time to use with your network.
Resetting the base station
Similarly to the handset reset (ref. par. Resetting the handset), you can reset the
base station. This restores all the user selectable features under the BS Settings
menu to the factory preset initial settings. The base station reset can help to solve
some logical malfunctions related to the base station. To reset the base just follow
these steps:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the main menu items.
2. Press the arrow keys to choose BS Settings, then press the
SELECT soft key.
3. Enter the current base PIN and press the OK soft key.
4. Press the arrow keys to choose 6: Base Reset, then press the
SELECT soft key. The display asks you to confirm the base reset.
5. At this time:
If you want to reset the base station, press the OK soft key.
If you dont want to reset the base station, press the CANCEL soft
key.
Resetting the base station does not affect the handsets registered to
the base station.
Emergency call mode
Description of emergency call mode
With emergency call mode set (can be turned on/off via the menu), if necessary an
emergency call can be triggered using the emergency call key ( ! ) on the handset.
In emergency call mode, emergency calls have priority over nearly all other
telephone functions.
