GRIP FRAME ASSEMBLY For Model eXT

Assembly (continued from page 17)

2) Place solenoid
and
armature
into position
in the right receiver.
❏
3) Carefully align and
insert computer board
into slot.
❏
4) Place trigger switch
on two pins of right receiver half.
❏
5) Insert capacitor
into slot.
❏
6) Route wires in cutout
areas
to lay flat under
solenoid pin
and battery and
not be pinched when receiver halves are reassembled.
❏
Visually inspect internal wires for disconnected wire end(s)
or damage.
❏
7) Insert solenoid pin
into 2 slots so it moves freely.
❏
8) Insert Magnet
in slot below solenoid/armature as shown.
❏
9)To Replace left Grip Frame half:
❏
Double check that all parts are in place as per steps 1-8 above),
❏
wires
are positioned in cutout areas
so wires are not pinched or sheared and
❏
the solenoid pin
moves freely.
❏
Visually inspect internal wires for disconnected wire end(s)
or damage.
❏
Keep Battery Clip
out and carefully place the left Grip Frame half
onto the right Grip Frame half so it fits flush, then insert and tighten the 4
grip screws
. Grip Frame assembly is complete. NOTE: You will install
the trigger guard later as instructed on page 21.
❏
1) To Replace the left grip frame half
: make sure that: (4 pins
;
trigger
; trigger spring (yellow)
; sear pin (black)
; sear
; sear
spring (silver)
; safety
; battery cover nut
; and 2 tank adapter
nuts
are in place in the right grip frame half
.
Install
eXT parts
into Grip
Frame
as follows:
Do not operate the
sear tripper assembly
uninstalled as the
solenoid/armature
may pinch you.
TO ASSEMBLE THE RECEIVER: Do not use power tools to disassemble
or assemble this marker. Hand start screws and bolts and do not over tighten
and strip threaded parts.
❏
Be sure all parts are cleaned and o-rings oiled.
❏
1) Insert (Power tube / valve /gas line and tank adapter assembled)
into right receiver half, align power tube and receiver holes.
❏
Put Red
Loctite 271 sealant on threads of the 2 valve lock bolts
; insert and
tighten 2 valve lock bolts
(do not over tighten and strip threaded parts.)
❏
2) Insert Ball Latch
.
❏
3) Slide Front bolt
onto power tube
.
❏
4) Insert Rear Bolt
(o-ring end first) into power tube
, with hole
for linkage arm
at top and notch for sear at bottom.
❏
Insert Rear
Bolt Plug
into Rear Bolt
and align hole for bolt handle
insertion.
❏
5) Insert Linkage Arm
into top of Front Bolt
and Rear Bolt
.
❏
6) Insert Bolt Handle
into rear bolt
and place buffer washer
into back end of receiver.
❏
7) Insert Drive Guide Pin
into Drive Spring
and insert into back
of rear bolt
(turn bolt handle
until Drive Pin/Spring inserts through
it inside of the rear bolt
/ bolt plug
.
❏
8) Push Drive Pin/Spring into rear bolt until you can insert other end
into receiver as shown.
❏
9) Insert 2 square nuts
into right receiver half.
❏
1) Carefully install the
left receiver half onto the
right receiver half (make
sure halves fit flush) then
insert and tighten 5
receiver screws
.
❏
2) Start 2 hopper bolts
(tighten later after
installing the hopper).
TO ASSEMBLE RECEIVER HALVES:
❏
Double Check: that the Front Bolt*
, Ball Latch
, Linkage Arm*
,
Rear Bolt*
/ Bolt Plug
, Drive Spring*
& Drive Guide Pin*
,
Buffer Washer
and 2 square Nuts
are in place and (*=oiled).
