48. Assemble differential assembly together with bearing cups into carrier. It may be
necessary to tap lightly in order to assemble. Do not force assembly into position as
this could cause damage to bearings.
49. Fit bearing caps noting that markings match with markings on carrier.
50. Tighten bearing cap bolts to torque given in chart 2 with Lockwashers already fitted.
51. Re-check backlash figure.
52. Check companion torque to turn figure as stated in chart 2.
