The supported video algorithm is H.264 (.264 file extension). The
supported speech algorithm is G.711 (.g711 extension). The supported
audio algorithm is AAC (.aac extension).
In setup mode, use the arrow buttons on the remote to adjust the settings
for the video bit rate and audio format. The video codec selection and the
audio bit rate are not modifiable.
The application runs on the ARM using Linux. The video and audio
signals are passed to encoders on the DSP by the Codec Engine. Shared
memory is used when passing data.
