About the Decode Demo
The Decode demo allows you to record and playback video.
from an HD video source connected to the EVM board's component input
connectors, is encoded, then decoded, and then sent to a display
connected to the EVM board's component video output connectors.
Note:
The Decode demo inputs HD video and outputs
standard video—not HD (720p) video. Since HD displays accept
standard video input, you should not need to modify your hardware
setup to run this demo.
The Decode does only video processing; it does not encode
and decode audio or speech. The supported video algorithm is H.264
Baseline Profile (.264 file extension).
