Troubleshooting
SYMPTOM

Chamber does
not function.
If POWER switch is ON.

F4T Power button needs to be turned

Limit Alarm is tripped.
Does not heat

F4T heat PWR bar is 100%, circulator fan is

Heat Limiter HL is open.

Heater HT1 is open.
d)
Solid State Relay SSR1 is defective.
Heats up too
slow.
If F4T Heat PWR bar is 100%.

Chamber interior is overloaded.
Heat is on all
the time.
If F4T Heat PWR bar is 0%.

Solid State Relay SSR1 is defective.
Does not cool at
all.
Compressor is running.
a)
Refrigerant leak.

Solenoid valve SV1 is defective.
c)
Plugged capillary tube.
Compressor is not running. F4T Cool &
Compressor outputs are ON.

Start relay in compressor terminal box is
defective.
b)
Compressor is defective.
Compressor is not running. F4T Cool output
is ON & Compressor output is OFF.

Control Mode is Off instead of Auto.
Cools too slowly

disabled by design.

you to start with a clean, dry chamber.
