Resetting an Out of Limit Condition
If an alarm occurs the status bar (top of screen) will indicate its existence by blinking red. A pop-
up window will indicate if the error is due to a Limit Low or Limit High condition. Pressing
Dismiss
will remove the pop-up display. The status bar will continue to blink red until the
chamber temperature is within safe limits and the
Clear
button is pressed.
Pull the status bar down button to view the alarm message in the
Error
tab. Press
Clear
to clear
the alarm after the chamber temperature is within safe limits.
Low Water Alarm
The chamber has an alarm which indicates when the reservoir has low water. There will be an
indication on the F4T Controller when the water is low and needs to be refilled. The chamber
will continue to operate normally when this alarm is activated. The system will not be damaged
if the water is low or empty. However, if the reservoir is completely out of water the system will
not be able to add humidity to the chamber when needed to control the humidity set point.
Low Water Alarm Notification
If an alarm occurs the status bar (top of screen) will indicate its existence by blinking yellow. A
pop-up window will indicate Low Water condition.
Pull the status bar down button to view the alarm message in the
Alarm
tab. Pressing
Dismiss
will remove the Low Water Alarm pop-up display.
Resetting a Low Water Alarm Condition
Fill the water reservoir (located on the top of the chamber) with 1 gallon minimum to 2 gallons
maximum of supermarket-grade distilled water or deionized water.
Do not use unfiltered tap
water! Do not use lab-grade double-distilled water!
The alarm will self-reset and the status bar will stop blinking when the water level within normal
limits.
