7.1 Polarity of measuring signals
Each electronic probe socket is provided with a separate input, designed A and B respecti-
vely (4 and 3 Fig. 2). In the following description, the corresponding gauge heads are refer-
red to as «A probe» and «B probe».
Each input socket has its own

function key, allowing selection of the pola-
rity (sign ±) of the measurement signal.
The choice of the measurement function depends on the electronic probes configuration of
the equipment used in the application and the result algebraic signal combinations.

1. As the probe stem moves back into the
body, the positive poA or +B
results in a change of display to the
positive side
