6.7.1 Memory function in Measurement Mode
Transfers the displayed value to output RS232
and reinitialises the memories.
The modification of the choice of measurement function reinitialises the memories on the
value instantly.
6.7.2 Memory function Hold Mode «HOLD»
Initialisation of the memories on the instant value of memory function.
Holding this key pushed, permits the acquisition of measurement. When
released, the display and the memories are in stopped position, the displayed
value is sent to the output RS232.
Attention
if the measurement function has changed, the display shows lines only until a new measu-
rement is generated.
The key
, input external switch (No 5 Fig. 2) and the pins 7 and 14 (R-M) of the
15-pin socket (No 6 Fig. 2) have the same function !

The instruments TT20 and TT60 are equipped with 2 input channels for measurement
signals. The displayed value can be provided by either one of the channels, or by the result
of combination of both. The measurement is enabled by connecting inductive TESA (or com-
patible) electronic probes.
This equipment allows both static measuring procedures, in which the reading is taken with
the electronic probe on a stationary workpiece, and dynamic measuring methods, where the
workpiece is moved. In a latter case, it is important that the limiting frequency of the instru-
ment, and that of the gauge heads, are not exceeded (see respective technical data).
