General Information
The CE1466 board provides the main controller unit for the Melody Hydraulic Lift
and is located in an IP65 rated Painted Steel Box installed externally from the lifting
platform.
The Control Box is connected to the Lift Carriage by two “Extra-Flex“ 7 core trailing
cables, and in conjunction with a DC/DC Converter, two timer units, and various
safety switches comprise the total control circuitry for the lift.
Mains Voltage is supplied to the PCB within the control box via a Flexible cable
from a RCD unit within the buildings consumer unit, via a 10A mains Filter located
in the Upper Right Hand Side of the Control Box to the CE1466 board.
AC is provided to the External Pump Unit via a Flexible mains cable connected
directly for the pump outputs of the CE1466 board. Similarly the pumps pressure
switch and solenoid unit connect to the Control Box via a single 4-core cable.
Battery Backup for use in a power loss situation is provided by a 12V 7Ah
rechargeable Sealed Lead-Acid Battery.
Interconnections for the External Call Stations and upper level gates are provided
from within the Control Box. The Platform Gate, Control Stations and Safety
Switches are connected on the lift carriage by means of a loom to the “Extra Flex”
7 Core Trailing Cables.
