19. Carriage Cable Connections

Run the cables neatly from the bottom right and left sides of the car
back to the lift control panel. Make sure the cables are run under the
platform in the cut-outs formed in the main floor assembly. Cable tie all
wires neatly.

Connect all the wiring inside the car controller (see Carriage Wiring
Diagram pg34)
20. Levelling the Platform

Raise the lift approximately 300mm by joining the mains to the pump.
Ensure there are no risks of trapping.

Tension the chain from the top of the right hand guide until the car is
perfectly level by placing a spirit level on the car floor cross braces
near the rear of the platform. Then tighten retaining nuts on bolt.

When level, adjust the car height screw on the top of the ram head
assembly and ensure the ram will resync when the lift is down
21. Connecting the wiring in the powerpack

Fit the car control call station and connect wiring blocks (see Carriage
Wiring Diagram pg34).

Turn the mains on and check the charger voltage on the red battery
lead. It should be approximately 13.60v. It is adjustable by VR3 on the
PCB.

Connect the battery up and fit all fuses.
22. Fitting the Underpan and Carriage Floor

Ensure both gates are locked.

Turn the key isolate on if fitted and the
call stations should light up.

Raise the lift checking for any
obstructions. Isolate the lift by
operating the isolate switch in the
powerpack (See Page 5 for Detail).

Insert the Safety Scotch into the guide
(See Page 4 for Detail)

Fit the underpan using the 4 brass bosses and M5 dome head bolts.
Check safe edges are free from sticking and lubricate the moving
parts. Also Supatrol under the floor to prevent corrosion.

Remove the Safety Scoth.

Send the lift down and fit the chequer plate floor making sure no wires
are trapped. Use 10 x M6 stainless countersink bolts.
