Using the fan
The buttons for the fan are located on the right side of the Touch
Control.
Remove the glas cover completely before using the fan.
Removing the aluminium-cover isn´t required for models with
open covers.
Switching the fan on and off
1. Press the Standby key for about 1 sec.
2. Press the Plus key + the fan.
You can then select using the
Plus
+ or
Minus key –
the
desired power level 1, 2, 3 or 4. The fan symbol lights up.
The maximum level 4 will run for 10 minutes, then it will
automatically revert to level 3.
3. To switch the fan off, press the Minus key – until 0 is display-
ed.
Running the fan
The fan operates following cooking to eliminate any odours, as
well as drying the filters in the fan itself.
Setting the fan running time
1. Press the plus + and minus keys – of the fan simultaneous-
ly. This sets the fan run for 10 minutes. The Min symbol for
fan run lights up.
2. To set the fan run for 60 minutes, press the plus + and
minus keys
– again simultaneously.
3. To switch the fan off, press the keys again simultaneously.
Follow-up time
The fan motor should continue running for 5 - 10 minutes every
time the hob is used for cooking.
When operating with circulation filters, please always use a fol-
low-up time of 10-60 minutes after cooking, to reach the optimal
odor elimination.
In very rare cases it can happen that when restarting the fan,
odor molecules stored in the filter mingle with the steam and
can be sensed again. These residue odors will disappear during
further operation.
Tips
You can put a wooden spoon under the lid of your pot on the fan
side when using a tall cooking pot (such as an asparagus pot) in
order to ensure that the extractor also works well with tall pots.
