TO REPLACE SCRUB BRUSH MOTOR
FOR SAFETY: Before Leaving Or Servicing
Machine; Stop On Level Surface, Turn Off
Machine.
NOTE: To make access to certain components in
this procedure easier, removal of the vacuum fan
is recommended. See TO REMOVE VACUUM
FAN instructions in this section.
1. Using the foot pedal, lower the scrubber
head to the floor.
2. Reach through the vacuum fan cavity and
disconnect the spring from the scrub head
level bracket.
NOTE: The spring is attached to the second slot
from the bottom, on the bracket.
3. Snip the plastic wire ties on the motor leads
and unplug the motor pigtail from the
harness plug.
4. Remove the phillips head screw and clamp
holding the solution feed tube in position.
Disconnect the feed hose from the scrubber
head.
NOTE: Mark the hose 38 mm (1-1/2) inches from
the end. When pushing hose back into the head,
stop at the mark.
5. Reach through the vacuum fan cavity and
using two 10 mm wrenches disconnect the
head level cable from the scrub head level
bracket.
NOTE: The cable and hardware are connected to
the center hole in the top of the bracket.
