The EPA menu shows the two motors’ throttle settings for that control mode (see picture below).
•
+ is forward direction
•
- is reverse direction
•
The Q/Z-1250 utilizes the channels 2 and 3 settings.
•
Channels 2 and 3 are the starboard and port throttles, respectively.
•
The maximum available setting is always 140% but the maximum useful setting is 75%; this will give
maximum boat speed in water. Higher settings will simply reduce the effective stick control range.
•
Do not set the reverse direction above 75%.
•
The port and starboard throttle channels should always have the same EPA settings, otherwise the
boat will have a strong tendency to turn in circles due to unbalanced thrust from the two motors.
•
The lower the percent setting, the slower the boat will go.
•
Test the settings thoroughly before deploying the boat.
Adjust the EPA settings by pressing on the channel to
be adjusted. The forwards and backwards (+ and -)
directions are selected by moving the throttle stick(s)
forward and back.
The percent setting is increased or decreased by
pressing on the “
+
” or “
-
“ arrows at the bottom of the
LCD display.
To make the boat slower, press “
-
“,
To make the boat faster, press “+”.
Pressing
RST
resets the throttles to 100%.
To

from any menu on the display, press the
