2.7.1 Equation
The Equation Builder screen lets you control the modem’s On/Off
time through the use of equations (Figure 2-19). When equation
conditions are true, the site will turn the modem on. When condi-
tions are false, the modem is turned off, conserving power.
To build an equation (Figure 2-19), select the Module Name the
equation will affect. Choose an equation from the Equation List,
or click Add and type in a descriptive name. Select a condition
from the list on the bottom half of the screen and click on Edit
Condition or, if no conditions are defined, click Edit Condition.

Selecting Edit Condition opens up the Condition Builder screen
where you can define a new condition or edit an existing one
(Figure 2-20). Define your parameters and press OK.
