4.2. Trouble shooting
The software may prompt the following error
message:
No video server configured. Do you want to go
through video server configuration now?
No configured video server found within your
network. Cause:
▸
The software has not yet been set-up on this
work station: Proceed with software set-up
using the configuration interface.
▸
The video server does not answer: Make sure
the video server is connected to the network,
check the power supply and see that the
video server is turned on.
Please enter the same password twice.
▸
During user configuration two different
passwords have been entered. To provide
protection against accidental errors in the
password entered, the same password needs
to be entered twice.
Please enter the administrator password.
▸
The software configuration has been
password-protected against unauthorised
changes. Please ask your administrator.
Please enter the video server administrator
password.
▸
The video server configuration has been
password-protected against unauthorised
changes. Please ask your administrator.
In case you want to activate user
administration, a user name needs to be
entered.
▸
The checkmark in front of “Password
required” was set, but neither user name nor
password have been entered: Either remove
the checkmark or enter user name and
password
The video server requires a name.
▸
The software distinguishes video servers
within the network by their respective names.
Hence, the video server requires an individual
name. When in use, this name will also be
displayed above the video feed.
You do not have authorisation to access the
video server.
▸
When prompted to enter the administrator
password, the wrong password has been
entered. Contact your administrator or reset
the video server to company settings (turn off
video server and press the reset button when
turning the server back on).
The program doesn't start automatically. Do
you want the program to start automatically
once the user signs in?
▸
The software needs to be copied into the
AutoRun folder in order to be available after
the user has signed in. This will result in
the video feed from the video server being
displayed during a call from the front door.
Please choose the corresponding option.
