Step 1:
Establish a network connection using
any RJ45 cable to connect to the device's
Ethernet port. Please observe standard network
technology rules.
Step 2:
Connect the video cable to contact V1
(V1 is the only contact this software supports,
please refrain from using V2 to V4). Split
the video wire inside the video cable and
pass it along relay 2 inside the Behnke door
intercom (connect to operating contact and
control contact, cf. door intercom manual).
Analogue video transmission (composite
video) is possible for cable lengths of up to
100 m, all standard rules for video transmission
technology apply.
Step 3:
Connect the 5 V power supply using the
power supply unit from the box.
Step 4:
Turn on video server, LEDs at the RJ45
socket flashing / lighting up indicate the server
working.
Please note:
Use the velcro tape provided for
mounting, if desired. To do so, remove the four
rubber feet from the video server and replace
them with the velcro tape. Surfaces for gluing
need to be oil-free and need to provide good
adhesive qualities. Glue the velcro tape to
the video server (apply pressure for about 1
minute), and then put the video server in the
desired location (again apply pressure for
about 1 minute).
