Version 6.0R2
Wipe Positioner
The wipe positioner delegation buttons have changed from the single-
button delegations of M/E 1 PRI, M/E 1 SEC, M/E 2 PRI, M/E 2 SEC, M/
E3 PRI, and M/E 3 SEC to M/E 1, M/E 2, M/E 3, PGM PST delegations
plus a PRI and SEC delegation. The M/E selections can be viewed as wipe
processor selections and the PRI and SEC buttons can be viewed as wipe
generator selections. For any wipe processor selection there will always be
an associated wipe generator. A processor button can be selected and the
wipe generator button will autodelegate.
Nearly all wipes can be ganged. To gang primary and secondary wipes,
press the PRI and SEC delegations simultaneously. The only exception is
that one M/E’s primary wipe cannot be ganged with another M/E’s sec-
ondary wipe.
All delegations can be turned off. When all M/E delegations are turned off
the generators will automatically turn off.
Note
When the.6.0R2 with wipes on PGM PST software is installed, the wipe and
wipe positioner delegation lamps behave in the new manner (ME1, ME2,... Pri,
Sec), but when v. 6.0R2 without PGM/PST is installed, they wipes function in
the old manner(ME1P, ME1S, et cetera.) It is important to note that if you have
the older software installed the wipes will behave in the old (pre-6.0 software
version) manner, and the wipe and positioner delegation lamps will not match
the key caps for those buttons.
