Conversion and adaptation
To convert the appliance to another type of gas (e.g. from natural gas to
LPG), the nozzles of the main burner, of the by-pass and of the pilot light
have to be changed. All nozzles are marked with a number that indicates
the diameter in 1/100 and are supplied in a bag.
After each conversion or adaptation, the appliance must undergo an
operating test and the supplementary data plate must be updated on the
basis of the conversion or adaptation carried out.
Connections to the distribution network, installation, and maintenance of the appliance must be carried out only by qualified
personnel, in observance of all applicable regulations!
Replacing the nozzles and adjusting the air
BURNER:
Pull the knob/s off.
Remove the control panel by unscrewing the fixing screws, then
locate the burner.
Replace the “
U
” nozzle (pic.5) with another one, suitable for the
new type of gas indicated in the
nozzles table - T1
in the section
Specifications

ADJUSTING THE AIR:
Unscrew the fixing screw “

” (pic.5)
of the bush of each burner and
adjust the primary air by moving it up to the distance indicated in
the
nozzles table

” (pic.5); then screw the fixing
screw in and reassemble the parts of the appliance, as they were in
their original condition.
PILOT LIGHT:
Replace the pilot nozzle “

” (pic.3) after having pulled out the
closing nut.
MINIMUM (only on models FTR and FTL):
Unscrew and replace or adjust the minimum by-pass nozzle "

Reassemble the control panel.
Reassemble the knob/s.
