5.2
Message displayed at power on
When switching on, the device carries out a lamp test of the front panel and of the inner
buzzer and displays the following message:

WARNING:
While starting up, the operator must make sure that all the lights are on and
that the buzzer sounds for one second.
For the next 3 seconds, the display shows the following message:
This page, shown at power up, informs the operator that
the LCD display contrast can be adjusted by keeping pressed
the key
[+]
or the key
[-]
and then pressing, together, with
pulses, the key
[P]
.
5.3
LCD contrast
When switching on the device, the characters displayed on the LCD must be clearly
readable with a good contrast between light and dark.
The position of the operator from the device display, higher or lower, changes the sight
angle and the contrast.
NOTE:
The contrast can be changed only inside the page of the base menu that
shows the message "READY TABLE n. XX", with the test table which is ready for
the next test.
To modify the LCD contrast, press first and keep pressed the key
[+],
to increase,
or the key
[-]
, to decrease, then press simultaneously and repeatedly, with
pulses, the key
[P]
.
5.4
Message menu
The "Message Menu" contains all the information sent by the tester, according to the current
state, to the operator and relating to:
- Indications on the test state (see chap. 4);
- Display of the operative test table;
- Piece counter;
- Instantaneous reading of the pressure sensor.
To access this information, you need to use the
[
↓
]
or
[
↑
]
keys.
