Maintenance and routine care
12.1.
General information
Systematic and thorough care is essential for ensuring safety in operation and maximising the machine's service life.
First level care concerns mainly inspection and cleaning.
In the following pages, we give care instructions which should be followed at regular intervals. Periodic servicing of
the machine will also result in less frequent breakdowns, leading to improved availability and greater accuracy.
Never use air at a pressure of more than 4 bar when cleaning the machine's components.
When doing any work on the machine, to prevent anyone switching it on or inadvertently operating the control
unit, it is essential that it is made safe and a notice displayed on the control unit: "WORK IN PROGRESS - DO NOT
SWITCH THE MACHINE ON!»
