8.1 Turning the appliance on and off
• Plug the power cord

into a suitable wall socket. A beep will sound and

NOTE:
The wall socket must continue to be easily accessible after the appliance is
plugged in.
• After approximately 20-30 seconds of inactivity and displaying

will turn off, yet the appliance continues to be in standby mode.
• To activate the appliance and start using it, turn the

• To fully turn off the appliance, unplug it from the wall socket.
8.2 Opening and closing the lid
When the cooker is in standby mode, a jingle will play when the lid is opened or closed.
