Press the POWER switch to turn the unit on.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (

).
Place a disc on the tray with the printed label face
up.
Never place more than one disc on the tray.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (
L
) to close the tray.

If the disc contains both music and images, a notifi-
cation message appears asking you to select the
type to content you want to play.

When a Disc is loaded, the playback may start auto-
matically and the Music screen opens listing all the
tracks in the selected album.
To start playback
In the stop mode, select desired track by pressing
the

buttons then the
y
(Play) or ENTER button.
The playing progress of the track is shown in the
right hand panel of the screen.
To suspend playback temporarily (pause mode)
Press the TUNING MODE button (
J
) during play-
back.
Music will be interrupted on MP3 and CD discs.
To resume playback, press the
y
(Play).
Play will continue from where you paused the play-
back.
To stop playback of CD and MP3
Press the FM MODE button (
H
).
