Select this when your TV or monitor is connected via
the SCART VIDEO jack.
SCART VIDEO signal is output from the AUDIO/VIDEO
jack.

Select this when your TV or monitor is connected via
the COMPONENT VIDEO jack.
COMPONENT VIDEO signal is output from the COMPO-
NENT VIDEO OUT jack.
P.SCAN
If your TV does not support progressive scan, do not
use this setting.
You can't use this setting when TV system is set to
NTSC.
P.SCAN signal is output from the COMPONENT VIDEO
OUT jack.
Note:

If the TV System select as PAL, you can watch the
576P P-Scan Signal (DVD, AV1, AV2, AV3, AV4, S-
Video, DV and TV) on the P-Scan TV through the
Component Video Jack.

If the TV System select as NTSC, you can watch the
480P P-Scan Signal (DVD, AV1, AV2, AV3, AV4, S-
Video, DV and TV) on the P-Scan TV through the
Component Video Jack.

If Progressive Scan has been selected and your TV is
not compatible you will probably TV picture will be
lost or appear distorted.
Please follow these instructions to correct:
If playing a DVD press "STOP" button.
Press "SETUP" button
Press "ZOOM" button repeatedly until you can see
video output.
