Normal Operation/Production Mode
DANGER!
There is a residual danger of trapped fingers. Never attempt to reach into the tool
before switching off the machine completely.
WARNING!
•
The crimping machine must only be operated when it is in a fully functional
condition.
•
When working with the crimping machine do not wear loose clothing, loose
jewellery or long hanging hair that could get caught in the machine parts.
•
The crimping machine must only be operated with the tool fitted and the
corresponding protective panels. Work carefully!
•
If you detect a fault on the machine, stop working and rectify the fault before
continuing to use the machine.
•
Only one person should operate the machine at any time.
•
Only trained personnel should operate the machine.
•
In the event of a malfunction or an accident, press the reset button immediately.
The reset button must remain within direct access of the operator at all times. It
must not be covered.
CAUTION!
•
Keep access to all the machine’s control devices clear of objects. This applies in
particular to the two-hand mechanism, the reset button and the main switch. Route
the hoses and cables along the ground in such a way that they cannot be tripped
over.
The HV crimping machine has three operating modes which can be selected with the programming unit
(see chapter 10).
1. Make sure the crimping machine is connected to the power and hydraulic supply systems.
2. Make sure the crimping machine is bled and calibrated.
3. Make sure the corresponding tool and protective panel are fitted.
