Calibration
DANGER!
There is a residual danger of trapped fingers. Never attempt to reach into a tool before
switching off the machine completely.
WARNING!
•
Bleeding and calibration work must only be performed by trained, authorised
personnel
•
Before starting disassembly work (including protective panels) make sure the
hydraulic unit power supply has been completely switched off.
•
Only one person should operate the machine at any time.
NOTE:
To ensure the full 40mm piston stroke, there must be no tool in the crimping machine.
- First, the entire tool must be removed from the crimping machine (see chapter 9.1 Tool
Removal/Assembly).
- Then the Macrolon cover (item 4) must be fitted (see Bleeding the Hydraulic Pump)
DANGER!
Bleeding of the hydraulic unit and calibration must only be performed when the
protective panel (Macrolon cover) of the machine is fitted.
The HV crimping machine must be calibrated before being used, to allow the lift limit of the crimping
machine to be entered with the programming unit. The calibration function sets the upper and lower limits
of the cylinder stroke.
NOTE:
Turn the key switch (1) right to the program mode.
1. Press the arrow up key. "CALIBR OK" appears on the menu display.
