General Information / Product Description / Operation
The HV crimping machine is safe to operate provided it is done so in accordance with the present
operating instructions. However, the HV crimping machine can be dangerous if the safety regulations are
not strictly observed.
WARNING!
The HV crimping machine must only be operated with the two-hand safety mechanism
and the corresponding crimping tools
The HV crimping machine is a hydraulic crimping device, designed as a bench unit for the TE
Connectivity High Voltage Crimping System. The HV crimping machine and the exchangeable TE
Connectivity crimping tools process contacts from the High Voltage series.
All other applications of the HV crimping machine require written permission from the manufacturer.
Unauthorised application of the HV crimping machine is considered a breach of regulations. The
manufacturer shall not be held liable for any resultant damage.
Exchangeable crimping tools are fitted in the HV crimping machine to suit the High Voltage contacts. The
two-hand mechanism starts the crimping procedures and the contact is processed. If the crimping cheeks
are blocked by an operational or handling error or by incorrect contact insertion, the crimping machine for
HV contacts can be disengaged via the reset button.
