4.3 DRIVE UNIT (TORQUE CONVERTER TYPE)

Low torque converter oil level
Add oil.
Clutch oil pressure is lower than specified

Replace.
2. Poor acceleration

Charging pump defective

3. Low oil pressure
Charging pump damaged or pump drive unit damaged

Control valve defective
Replace.
Seals damaged
Replace.
4. Clutch oil
pressure is too
low
Low torque converter oil level
Add oil.
Strainer clogged
Clean.
Clutch oil pressure relief valve damaged
Replace valve.
5. Oil temperature
is excessively
high
Oil cooler contaminated
Clean or replace cooler.
Low torque converter oil level
Add oil.
Insufficient quantity of oil circulating through the circuit
due to damaged charging pump or damaged hydraulic
system
Replace.
