Maintenance
Replacing the Lamp Cartridge

Install the new lamp cartridge.
(1)
Slowly push in the lamp cartridge.
(Align with the screw holes of the
projector.)
(2)
Press firmly from above, then
turn the 2 screws of the lamp
cartridge clockwise to tighten.

Install the lamp cover.
(1)
Insert the edge of the lamp cover
into the projector and then close
the lamp cover.
(2)
Insert the tabs of the lamp cover
until a “click” sound is heard.

Reset the Lamp Timer.
Connect the power cable, turn on the power, then reset.
Select
Admin
under
Advanced Menu
▶
Lamp Timer Reset
, and then press the
ENTER button. There will be a change to the initialization verification display. Now
press the ENTER button. See “Lamp Timer Reset” for details on Page E-80.
When the lamp has been used for more than 100
hours after reaching its service life, the power
will no longer turn on. Should this happen,
simultaneously holding down the projector’s
SOURCE button and AUTO button for more than 5
seconds in the standby mode will clear the lamp
timer. Checking that the LAMP indicator is off
will show that the lamp timer has been cleared.
Replacement lamps can be obtained at dealers.
