Make the adjustments with the power of the connected equipment turned on,
and the video signal input to the projector.
Adjusting the Projected Image.

Turn the zoom ring and adjust the size of the projected
image.
Adjust so that the desired image size is obtained. When the size does not match by
adjusting the zoom ring, move the projector back or forward.
2
Adjusting the Projected Image to the Screen
Check that the screen is set horizontally and vertically.
1.
When shifted in the left-right direction, move the projector to the side. (Align
the center of the screen with the center of the projector lens.)
2.
When shifted in the vertical direction, adjust using the front adjuster.
3.
When on an angle, adjust by turning the right or left rear adjuster.
4.
In a projected screen such as that illustrated, the projector is facing the side with
respect to the screen; therefore, place the projector so that it is facing the screen
straight from the front.

Technical Point
The projector is equipped with an Auto Keystone function.
Keystone distortion in the vertical direction as illustrated in
the diagram will be corrected automatically. The keystone
distortion will be adjusted automatically about 3 seconds
after determining the projection angle. A message reading
“Auto Keystone Complete” will be displayed for about 1.5
seconds.
See “Manual Adjustment of Keystone” when making fine
adjustments after automatic adjustment. See Page E-43.
When
Auto Keystone
is set to
Off
, it will not function.
See “Auto Keystone” for details about setting Auto Key-
stone. See Page E-53.
The operating conditions of Auto Keystone are as de-
scribed below.
Operation will be in a range of approximately 2° to 18°
