AINTENANCE
Regular maintenance should be done on the following items:
•
Fuel filter: check after every meeting for impurity
•
Fuel pump: current consumption can be monitored within data logger
•
Quick coupling: always check that releasing cables are correctly installed and tighten.

UEL SAFETY
It is recommended that the driver is not in the cockpit when fuelling the car and that there is a suitable fire
extinguisher with a second person present during the process. The car is fitted with a safety one-way breather
unit to remove the possibility of fuel spillage should the car roll over. The Breather pipe from this unit must be
secured on the left hand side of the rear bulkhead, away from the exhaust.

An extra dry break fitting is mounted on the ‘cold’ side of the engine to pump out fuel samples. A hose kit
equipped with female dry break fitting PN SPT 08.1655/L/JV is required to drain fuel.
