P. TARGET
This is the ideal operational tyre pressure.
P. MIN
This is the minimum pressure at which the tyre should be run. NEVER use the tyre below the minimum
pressure otherwise you will compromise its integrity. The pressure should be checked before the start of each
run - INFLATE the tyre if the pressure is below the recommended value.
A pressure below the recommended value will cause excessive sidewall deflection, risk of air loss between
bead and rim and risk of the bead unseating. All these factors compromise the integrity of the tyre and can
cause tyre failure.
During the first lap out from pit and the warm up lap we strongly recommend avoiding kerbs or any other kind
of hard impact to prevent air losses.
P. "COLD"
This value needs to be determined with respect to the P. MIN value so you can achieve the P TARGET when
on track.
The value needs to be checked and adjusted to the calculated value at the same time every day until the end
of the event.
P. RAIN
The pressure for the rain tyre changes according to the depth of standing water on the track. The cold pressure
should not be less than 1,2bar when the track is damp.
