AMPING
Dampers must be serviced by Oram (or it’s appointed agent) via MSV. The valving is unique to the
championship. Serial numbers will be logged and checked. Also, dampers may be removed during the season
for checking both on a suitable testing machine and internally.
3.11.1
Damper operation
NB – A Front Damper is shown, denoted by the axis of the chassis mount being at 90° to the compression
adjuster. The axis of the chassis mount on a Rear damper is aligned with the compression adjuster.
Each Damper is sealed with a uniquely numbered seal and must NOT be tampered with. Should a Damper
require pressure checking it must be returned to MSV.
Packers and bump rubbers are prohibited.
