6.7.2 Adjusting film tension

Adjusting film tension

A sequence of operations for film tension adjustment. Find out the current degree of film tension by
ways described in Section 6.6.1.

Loosen the jam nut (2) on the pressure screw (1).

Adjust the screw pressure by checking the film resistance (3).

- If the film tension is too high, lower the screw by turning the lever (1) to the left.

- If the film tension is too weak, lift the screw by turning the lever (1) to the right.

Tighten the jam nut (2).

Check the tension of the film and repeat the procedure if necessary.
