MAINTENANCE
Draining the Fuel Tank
WARNING
�
Do not smoke or permit open flames
while handling fuel or working on the
fuel system.
�
Stop the engine in a well-ventilated
place and allow it to cool down before
performing maintenance.
�
Clean up spilled fuel immediately.
Do this before operating the machine.
1. Remove the fuel filler cap (2).
2. Place a pan under the drain valve (3).
3. Open the drain valve (3) and drain the
water and sediment from the bottom of
the tank.
4. Close the drain valve (3).
5. While watching the fuel gauge (1), add
fuel.
6. Tighten the fuel filler cap (2) and lock it
with the key.
7. Bleed the air.
