3. Low /high-speed travel switch
Low-speed travel
Depress the “Turtle” symbol on this
switch to change the travel gear from
high-speed travel to low-speed travel.
It is possible to switch from the low-speed
travel “Turtle” to the high-speed travel “Hare”
while traveling. However, switching from the
high-speed travel to low-speed travel must
be done after stopping the machine,
because it could cause an abrupt stopping
or overspeeding, resulting in damage to the
devices.
High-speed travel
Depress the “Hare” symbol on this
switch to change to the high-speed
travel gear.
Note:
If the creeping travel switch has been
depressed, the creeping travel switch takes
a higher priority.
4. Power mode switch
CONTROL CONSOLE
While in the traveling mode, the powe mode
is always used.
• Pressing the PWR symbol side of the
switch turns on the Power mode indicator
lamp on the Multi-information display.
The maximum engine output is obtained.
• STD mode: Pressing the blank side of the
switch will turn off the power mode
indicator lamp.

page 2-16.
5. Ram Lock switch
Do not lock the suspension while
traveling. Doing so may create a
dangerous situation. Be sure to lock the
suspension only when working with the
machine.
Lock the suspension of the front axle
(wobbling) with this switch to prevent the
cylinder from moving.
...... Locks the suspension of the front
axle.
Push the LOCK side of the switch
to secure the machine when
working.
FREE ....... Unlocks the suspension. Keep the
switch in this neutral position
while traveling (High-speed travel:
Low-speed travel switch is off).
...... The suspension is automatically
locked if the brake is pressed
when traveling at low speed
(low-speed travel: turtle symbol),
and it is unlocked when the brake
is released.
When traveling at high speed
(high-speed travel: low-speed
travel switch is off), the
suspension is not locked even if
the brake is pressed.
