7.2 IP Filter Setting
Your WANpro uses filters to decide whether or not to allow passage of a packet. IP filters are
divided into incoming and outgoing filters, depending on the direction of the packet relative to a
serial port, WAN or IDSL alternative. To enable the IP Filter can be find under
Configuration

There has filter table for each incoming and outgoing filter, this allow you to configure specifies
IP traffic that are permitted to access your LAN.

You can choose the filter mode to "Default Deny" or "Default Permit", this option mode will
match to the filter table.
For example, if you have set the Incoming Filter to Default Deny then the corresponding serial
port (WAN or IDSL) will only allows IP incoming from the list of incoming filter table which
has the type of permit. The same logicality with Default Permit.

IP Filter table allows you configure against to the specify field. Leave the field to default "0" or
"0.0.0.0" means all include or don't care.
