6.1.8 Baler connection
6.1.8.1 Fitting the baler hitch
In order to avoid damage to baler and
wrapper, it is of great importance that these
guidelines are followed when making and
attaching the towing bracket to the baler:
The bracket should be connected in 3
places to the baler axle & main frame.
The wrapper loading arm should be
correctly positioned when wrapper is
attached to the bracket (see chapter
6.2.2).
The bracket should not foul the rear tail
gate or any of its functions.
The bracket should allow the wrapper to
move up and down independent of the
baler on uneven ground.
The centre lines of baler and wrapper
should merge.
There should be enough clearance to
allow bale kickers to release the bale.
Attention!
Any local connections should be performed
in accordance with the baler manufacturer’s
requirements.
Road transport has to be done accordingly
to local and national requirements.
6.1.8.2 Hydraulics and electronics
Used behind a baler, hydraulic hoses and
cables extensions have to be fitted on the
balers left hand side. Ensure that hoses and
cables are fitted safely. Mark the hydraulic
houses to ensure correct connections on the
tractor
6.1.9 Electrics
Connect system to tractor’s power supply.
Observe! Assure that power supply has
sufficient capacity with stable connections.
Any risk of short breaks in power supply will
cause system failure. The battery cable
included with the wrapper offers a steady
supply when connected to the battery ter-
minals. The cables are marked with «+» and
«–».
The power supply should under no cir-
cumstances come from the lighter socket!
