6.1.6 Drawbar
Remove the transport bar and move the
drawbar (DR) untill the drawbar cylinder
(CY) or the mechanical positioning bar (MB)
can be fitted.
Mount the parking leg (PL).
Preparation for use
6.1.6.1 Height adjustment of draw-
bar
The objective is to get the correct height of
the drawbar for loading the bale onto the
wrapper. Check adjustments with wrapper
and tractor on level ground.
Tip roller table (RT) forward and move
loading arm (LA) in to loading position.
Adjust tilting with parking leg (PL) to make
lowest point of loading arm (LA) to be 5 to
10cm above the ground.
Adjust wrapper drawbar clevis/eye (DC) to fit
the height of the tractor drawbar/hitch main-
taining the desired ground clearance of 5-
10cm for the loading arm (LA). Make sure
that bolts are properly tightened.
6.1.6.2 Drawbar eye bushing
Use the drawbar eye bushing (DB) when
connecting to tractor drawbar. Fit with ring
and circlip on the upper side in order to
avoid damage to bushing.
6.1.7 Hydraulic hoses and
electrical cables
Check that the hydraulic hoses and cables
are positioned in a way that damage caused
by moving parts is avoided.
