Errors during NA Unit Operation

Correction
The indicators light red
and operation stops.
There is not enough
memory.
Change the project to reduce memory usage.
The indicators flash red
and the SD Memory
Card or USB Memory
Device cannot be
accessed.
There is an error in the
SD Memory Card or USB
Memory Device.
Replace the SD Memory Card or USB Memory Device
in the NA Unit with a normal one.
Nothing is displayed on
the screen.
The screen saver was
activated.
This is not an error. Touch the screen or press a func-
tion key.
The Backlight has failed.
The Backlight needs to be replaced. Inquire at the con-
tact given on the back of this manual.
The screen is too dark.
Increase the screen brightness setting in the project
and download the project again.
The touch panel does
not respond.
External noise caused a
malfunction.
Reset the NA Unit and then implement noise counter-
measures in the wiring.
The touch panel is bro-
ken.
Use the
Touch Panel Input
Icon on the System Menu
to test the touch panel. If an error is found, inquire at
the contact given on the back of this manual.
The display is dark.
The screen is too dark.
• Increase the brightness of the screen in the bright-
ness setting on the System Menu.
• Increase the screen brightness setting in the project
and download the project again.
The Backlight is faulty or
has reached the end of its
life.
The Backlight needs to be replaced. Inquire at the con-
tact given on the back of this manual.
Numbers or characters
are refreshed too
slowly.
Communications are not
stable due to external
noise.
Separate the communications cables from power lines
and perform other noise countermeasures.
There are too many
objects.
Decrease the number of objects on the screens for
which refreshing is slow.
There is a heavy process-
ing load on the con-
nected device that is
resulting in extended
cycle times.
Reduce the cycle time of the connected device.
The message communi-
cations interval is too
long.
Shorten the refreshing interval of the variable that is
allocated to the object.
Gauges are refreshed
too slowly.
Too many objects overlap
the gauges.
If multiple images are stacked behind the gauges, put
them together in a single image.
Lay out the gauges so that they do not overlap with
other objects.
Some of the objects on
the screen are not dis-
played.
The
IsVisible
Check Box
is not selected in the
object settings.
Select the
IsVisible
Check Box in the object properties
on the Sysmac Studio.
If you change the
IsVisible
property, e.g., from a sub-
routine, set it to True.
The trend graph dis-
play does not match
the actual log timing.
The communications
address that is set as the
event for the log timing is
turning ON and OFF at a
high speed.
Increase the ON/OFF interval for the communications
address used as the event.
