The installation diskette supplied contains a disgnostics program with the following features:
•
Option for configuring the adapter as a busmaster / pseudo-DMA card
•
Display of all the PCI expansion cards installed in the computer
•
4 tests with varying testing depth

EQUIREMENTS
The following requirements must be met to perform the tests:
•
The adapter must be correctly installed
•
The computer must be installed in the Token Ring Netz via an MAU
If MAUs with a high load are selected, minor data losses in the network may occur during the
test. To prevent this, the computer can be connected to an MAU with a low load during the
test.
Note: Do not start the diagnostics program on more than one computer simultaneously.
The table below illustrates which depth is achieved in which test:
