►
Turn the ball valve downwards by 90° into vertical position (Open).
►
Flush the valve with a volume of approximately 5 liters.
►
Turn the ball valve by 90° to the left, into horizontal position (Close).

Maintenance of the connection flange
During maintenance or repair work of the connection flange, the downstream
installation can be isolated by means of the integrated ball valve.
►
Drain the installation via the drain valve.
►
Verify the check valve by isolating the supply line and unscrewing the test
plug at the inlet. If there is a continuous flow of water, the check valve is
damaged.
►
Clean the check valve with clean, cold water or exchange it.
Batteries have to be exchanged after two years at the latest

Troubleshooting
Malfunctions are notified through optical or acoustic signals (buzzer). In additi-
on, the error will be externally reported by e-mail to a smartphone or a PC.
Causes for a malfunction include
•
depleted cartridges
•
device errors
• spent batteries
Note:
The buzzer function must
be activated in the menu
under „Extended settings
for users“. This function
only works with external
voltage supply through
the power adapter.
